Wow. This is a real thing. I thought maybe my brain had conjured it up. I have vague memories of watching TV as a kid and seeing people jumping over barrels while on ice skates and then crashing spectacularly. It was probably on ABC's Wide World of Sports. I hadn't heard or seen anything about it since then. Until now.

I totally remember watching this on ABC's Wide World of Sports.

Motorcycle ice racing as well. What a great show for weirdness. And Hurling!

that seems really dangerous. Like long jumping into sand just wasn't enough, so broken ankles and faces adds to the excitement!
